Paratum cor meum, Deus,
Cantabo et psallam in gloria mea.

Exsurge gloria mea. Exsurge psalterium,
Exsurge cythara. Exsurgam diluculo,

Confitebor tibi in populis, Domine,
Psallam tibi in nationibus.

My heart is ready, O God,
I will sing and make music.

Awake, my soul! Awake, harp,
Awake, lyre! I will awaken the dawn,

I will give thanks  to You among the people, Lord,
I will make music to You among the nations.
